 Join Bargara Triathlon Club for the 2015  Bundaberg Duathlon. This years event is open to all ages and competition levels – from beginner to seasoned professional.

 What is a Duathlon?

A Duathlon is multi-sport competitive event that involves running, cycling, and running again – think of a Triathlon with another run instead of the swim. A Duathlon is perfect for those that would like to compete, but are not the strongest swimmers.

Who Can Enter?

We have 3 entry categories for this years event:

  • Turtles: 7-12 year olds
  • Give It a Try: 13 year olds +
  • Sprint: 14 year olds +

Will any prize money be paid out to race winners?

Yes, as an extra incentive for participants, the Club will trial paying out cash prizes to each of the first individual male and female Triathlon Australia members to complete each of the above courses.

The money will be distributed to the winners as follows:-

  • Turtles:   $10
  • GIAT:     $25
  • Sprint:    $50

Where is the Bundaberg Duathlon held?

This years event will be held at the cycle criterium circuit located at Flint Street, Kendall Flat in Bundaberg South.

Registration opens at 6:00am and closes at 6:30am. The Event Briefing is at 6:30am.

Turtle Event Start: 7:00am Distance 500m, 3.6km, 500m
Give it a Try Event Start: 7:20am Distance 2km, 10km, 2km
Sprint Event Start: 7:20am Distance 4km, 20km, 4km

Early-bird entries close: midnight on 1 August 2015

Online entries close: midnight on 5 August 2015

Late entries available on Race Day: cash only
